Who is eligible to receive the DARE installation packet?    -top of page-

DARE installation packets are available only to administrators or supervisors in the Information Technology, Human Resources, DSPS, or Faculty Development/Training departments for the purpose of setting up a customized implementation of the DARE training campus-wide. It requires Information Technology personnel who are comfortable with installing and configuring internet servers and MySQL database configuration on your campus' web site. We do not offer technical support for the packet.

PLEASE NOTE: If buy-in from management and information technology is not assured,
we ask that you use LBCC's web-based version we offer at http://dare.lbcc.edu/training.html

What are the benefits of installing DARE on our institution's server?    -top of page-

After installing and configuring DARE on your institution's web server, you can use the dAdmin database to track usage and completion for training, FLEX, contractual, or any other purpose. Further, the customized installation on your campus's server allows you to set up key personnel to view and print reports from the database, export the reports to Excel and even import them into any other database. To view sample reports, please view the Installation Instructions Manual (PDF document.) You may also customize the graphics and layout of the web-based training program, as well as the feedback and emails, to meet your institutional needs.

What is required?    -top of page-

You are first required to assure that your institution has the proper expertise and buy-in to coordinate the installation, configuration, and monitoring of the program independently. We will not provide technical support, and do not respond to technical inquiries of any kind! If you have any concerns about whether your campus can meet the technical requirements to install and maintain the program, please view and share the Installation Instructions Manual (PDF document) with the appropriate Information technology personnel.

You must completely fill out the form below. Once approved, we will contact you at your institutional email with instructions on what to send. You will be given more information once approved, so please make sure that your institutional contact information is correct and current.

NOTE: We ask that you let us know when you make or distribute any part of DARE to Care.

After reading and confirming the information above, please complete all the fields on the form below. Thank you for your interest in DARE. QUESTIONS? Contact dare@lbcc.edu
